Michael Enos, CPC, CPMA, CEMC

Picture

Mike Enos has 10 years of experience in the medical billing and revenue cycle management field.  Mike joined with Ingenix CareTracker (formerly LighthouseMD) in 2001, and stayed with the company after graduating from Rhode Island College.  He currently works as a billing account manager for full service physician practices.

After attending Rhode Island College and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts, Mike continued his education by pursuing three professional medical coding certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), and Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC).  By combining this knowledge with public speaking and education expertise, Mike is able to add a unique perspective and an additional level of support to the CPC training courses offered by Nancy Enos.

Mike helped to improve the Compliance and Quality Assurance Department at LighthouseMD by implementing consistent and measurable auditing techniques, worked in the Academics department streamlining charge entry and claims follow-up, became an account manager, and began as a teaching assistant, chart auditor, and consultant.   He has also joined several nationally accredited professional organizations, including the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), National Association of Medical Auditing Specialists (NAMAS), Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE.)
